Chronic dry eye disease

After left leg ligament injury ( getting better after few til tar therapy), there is an additional baggage load to my health today : Chronic dry eye disease or dry eye syndrome!

Problems : My eyes are dry, excessive tearing for more than 2 months, blurred vision, and my left eye ball is protrude since 3-4 weeks ago.
Causes : Aging, and hormone issues due to thyroid dysfunction n menopause. Climate n prolong computer usage may be other cause.
Damages are visible n disturbing my routine, if condition persist, it’s surgery to rectify the protrude eye ball. And a big holes in my pocket.
Treatments : Restasis for a month, lubricant eye gel / ointment at night, and non stop dripping of artificial lubricant tear drops when there is any discomfort.

As the problem is chronic, means this will be a long term baggage 😦

18-5-2014 (after a month of treatment, tearing conditions is reduced, sometime I do not need to use the lubricant tear drop at all. However the eye ball is still protrude, and condition may get worst if I slept late or lack of sleep)
