KDN is Cheating!

If you took part in the ISA poll on ikdn.gov.my early, you would remember that the responses were clearly anti-ISA for all the questions.

However, at this moment, positive and negative responses for the 1st and 4th questions are more or less balanced now.

It is obvious that there have been some efforts by KDN to dramatically increase the number of pro-ISA responses in such a short time.

The real giveaway is – they never bothered to manipulate the reponses for the other 3 questions: For the 1st and 4th questions, there are more than 20,000 responses in total, for other questions, only 10,000+. Isn’t it even more obvious?

Click the above screen capture for a comparison of poll results for all 5 questions.

This shows that the government can’t face up to the truth on what the people want with regards to the ISA. And what’s the use for having such a poll when you have no interest in listening to the views of the people?

  1. for me..
how can you trust a poll hosted by government bodies..?
this is not d first time they manipulated the data..

but obviously, this is too obvious to change the data without
matching the total number of votes..

    Malaysia Boleh…

  2. how about this report http://malaysiakini.com/news/110379

i think you cannot accept the truth. if you can see the poll hosted by other poll hosting and not hosted by themselves.

i dont think the government manipulated the data:
    1. Like I said, they are not hosted the poll
    2. Its a free poll services. You can register and try the poll and let see if u can manipulate the poll.
    3. It’s just a poll. Do you think government will take the action just from the poll in the website?

  3. First of all, I don’t believe the polls that performed by KDN, regardless the outcome, coz its not perform by independent party.

Secondly, a basic control should be in place, e.g. limit the click per IP. KDN poll don’t have such control, you can click thousands times and the results are accepted into the poll.

Thirdly, for anyone who know about survey and statistic. A good poll required representative samples of the population. A poll in the internet only attract young / internet savy “citizen”, so samples are bias and only use for reference. I also doubt whether the person who participate is Malaysia Citizen or not.

Fourthly, its too obvious someone is trying to manipulate the results. Read carefully about the Malaysiakini report http://malaysiakini.com/news/110313

“Setakat semakan terkini Malaysiakini jam 11.30 malam ini (11/8/09)- 49 peratus atau 13,619 daripada 28,012 respons menyifatkan akta itu “zalim”, dan 50 peratus lagi menganggapnya “undang-undang pencegahan.
Petang semalam (10/8/09), 87 peratus atau 11,836 respons menganggapnya sedemikian. Jumlah respons waktu itu 13,644 berbanding lewat malam ini yang meningkat lebih 100 peratus.” This is not making any sense.

Furthermore, before 10/8/09, the number of responses for the 5 questions are quite same around 12-13k. But after 24 hours on 11/8/09, only the responses for question 1 & 4 are increasing by 13-14k, but the responses for question 2,3 & 5 are remain same. These showed obvious manipulating.

I can continue writing the speculation on and on. But I don’t think I want to waste any of my time on this international laughing stock. Malaysia BOLEH!
