Fruit Enzyme DIY- Dragon Fruit

I decided to try the other fruit enzyme preparation method. Hope the results better than the first on.

The recipe for the Dragon Fruit Enzyme:

  • 1 Portion of raw honey (100ml)
  • 3 Portions of fruits (2 big dragon fruits and 1 lemon)
  • 10 Portions of water (1 litre)
  • 3 table spoons of Organic Oligo Answer Liquid

Preparation Steps:

  1. Clean the fruits, utensils, glass containers and let it drip dry.
  2. Peel all the fruits and cut into small pieces.
  3. Pour all the honey into the container.
  4. Put all the cut fruits into the glass container.
  5. Add in the water.
  6. Stir the mixture well with a clean spoon.
  7. Arrange layers of lemon on top.
  8. Cover the last layer with Organic Oligo Answer Liquid.
  9. The ingredients should not more than 80% of the container.
  10. Close the container tightly and leave it in dry and cool place.
  11. “Rock and Roll” the container daily. Ensure all the fruits are immerse in the liquid to prevent mold / fungus growth.
  12. After 3-4 days, open the cover and stir the content with a clean spoon. Close the lid.
  13. If necessary open the cover to release the gases and repeat when necessary (Note: should open and close immediately)
  14. The enzyme should be ready to be consumed after 3 months.
  15. Separate the fruit from liquid and transfer the enzyme into new clean glass and keep in the refrigerator to preserve it better.

Note : the longer the enzyme, the better of its effects

After 3 months of waiting, I harvested my dragon fruit enzyme 2 weeks ago!

All the fruit have “settled” at the bottom of the bottle. The enzyme was thick & sticky and took me some times to separate the fruit from the liquid. I only managed to get 500ml of enzyme after the separation process.

I mixed 2 table-spoon of enzyme with 100ml of water and consume it with empty stomach. This enzyme is not sweet but taste good. I can felt the alcohol “re-action” in my body immediately!

I also used the fruit waste to prepare the garbage enzyme! Nothing is WASTED!

  4. i WOULD LIKE TO MAKE DRAGON FRUIT ENYZME USING ICON (FRUCTOSE). WHAT IS INGREDIENT OR RECIPE?EVERYTIME I MAKE FRUIT ENYZME USING PING PIAN TANG.BUT THIS TIME I WOULD LIKE ICON FRUCTOSE.

  6. You have the option to use this Organic Oligo Answer Liquid (a type of enzyme) or not.

    The main purpose of this liquid is like a booster.

DIY DRAGON FRUIT ENYZME using i-con Fructose will be fine. just put some slices Dragon fruit into the bottle, and add honey around 10% of the bottle, and add i-con Fructose or i-con Oligo add up to 30%. Then, store it for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks the Dragon Fruit Enyzme is ready to drink(just dilute with water).

    Thanks for sharing the enzyme information and i follow the instruction and have make some dragon fruit enzyme and orange enzyme…it taste very good. After a week to consume this, i feel my back little pain same goes to my colleagues…Does anyone of your friends and relative also having this problem.
    Can we still continue to consume the enzyme?

    i stay in a country (australia) with 4 season unlike singapore, Malaysia.
    i tried the above way. During the 3-4 days in cold days, i notice some “drops of moisture collected at the inner glass container, should we wipe it dry and clean all times?
    also if i stir the fruits daily, it start to ferment very fast, bubbles also more…
    so we shake and dont stir the fruit pieces? sometimes i tried if wait till two weeks then it become full alcohol? how tight do u close the lid?
